Healthcare capabilities are ever-increasing and the use of technologies can be seen best used in Africa. The 4th eLearning Africa Conference which is the Africa's largest event on learning technologies and the education changes that technologies is brining in Information and communication is helping African nations to reach the millennium goal of education for all. This conference features sixty different countries and their technological developments. This conference is to be held on May 27th to 29th in Dakar, Senegal. One of the important aspect of this conference is that it brings together education ministers, senior governmental officers, non-gernmental organizations, school and university educators, developmental agencies and business executives.
The main focus would be to exchange ideas on progress and probability of advancements in education with the help of technologies. Another idea is to share the best practices and introduce newer methods and ideas to their communities back home.

This was initiated by Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belgium

Its mission is to bring people together who are actively engaged in education and in the implementation of learning technologies in schools, universities, corporate training programmes as well as in education in the public sector.
Participants are policymakers such as Ministers of Education,
representatives from government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), development agencies and international organisations, senior executives from businesses, as well as practitioners from all fields of education. The conference will be held in both English and French.
